In Memory of...

My aunt Shannon past away due to cancer. This was a big shock to me...but really it shouldn't have been. I feel so horriable because I didn't know she was that sick, last time I saw her I thought she was getting better. My heart aches with sadness that I did not reach out to her more. She was so sincere and genuinely nice every time I spoke with her. Many other people that knew her can attest that she really was truely interested in others and made them feel important and loved just by being in her presence with her warm welcoming smile.

Life is to short to take advantage of the people you love. Although I have had this reminder before when my older brother Sam past a way a few yrs ago, I feel the need to express my feelings of how important I believe it is to treat others nicely because it may just be the last time you see them. I have thought this before but now instead of just thinking oh maybe I should be nice I am going to act upon it. I have decided to reach out to my loved ones more often (and I have my own personal plan of doing so) do you have a plan or a way to take action?..if not then I don't know why you are still reading this..go do it! :) but before you do...

My Uncle Shane (Shannon's husband) made this website in her memory, I was touched by reading his comments and also many of the comments that were made (which were mostly from my family)

If you have a moment you should take a peek:)
