you sound like a bird..drowning.

I love singing..I sing all the time. In the store, shower, car, work.
I may not be good but that doesn't stop me from going gun hoe when I sing. (just ask my main man he knows this)
Anyhow Tay and I went on a date last night and we saw this show..Moneyball.
These two guys made this movie. They are both such GREAT actors and I enjoyed seeing them in a movie together.
The only part I didn't enjoy was when Brad said the F word and that
made me mad..I HATE that word with a passion. Grossest word EVER!
But then this cute scene made my heart melt.
This young girl has such a sweet, beautiful voice..I could listen to it over and over again. enjoy:)

A Slice of Natural

For any of you that are interested in eating healthier and saving money in the long run these 3 machines are very handy:

This little machine is the Norpro Flaker aka grain grinder...
the cost is around $60 dollars
I use these to grind wheat for mush aka oatmeal. Great way to start the day, we also add millet
to add more of a thick texture. Millet is also good for you. There are tons of different grains you can add in mush. Lots of the grains have a plentiful amount of protein in them, which is way better for you then the diet Protein shakes.
This is an automatic grain flaker. We use this to make oats. I was so sick of spending 5 bucks for a small box of oats when I could buy a bag of fresh oats and grind them for the same price but the amount of oats is triple the quantity of the Quaker oats store bought kind.

 and my favorite....the whisper mill.
This is what I use to grind fresh whole wheat flour for our bread. Very easy and very worth it! Store bought whole wheat flour is not obviously as fresh and a lot of the nutrients is lost from sitting on the store shelf for days.
These machine is a little more expensive..whisper mills run about $200.00 and I think they have even gone up a little.

Some people think it is so much work and so much more money to eat healthy. Well in some cases it is true. But Tay and I decided we would rather spend a little more money to eat healthy and take care of the bodies we are so blessed to have. Health always comes back to bit people when they are older and then you end up spending so much money on medical bills which cost way more then buying healthy foods...just saying.
I am not trying portray myself as these perfect healthy person..because I am not. I eat my fair share of cookies, brownies, pizza, etc. although it is all in moderation..as we have all heard before.
I was blessed to be raised by a Father that really taught each one of his kids how to take care of our bodies in a healthy manner. It took me 15 yrs to finally like mush!
We had two options in Dad's home..eat it or go hungry.
I am not nearly as good as he is but I want to one day ingrain in my little people how important it is to eat healthy.

Bringing Down the Roof

Tay and I never eat out. Mostly because we are on a budget but usually we prefer to
cook our own meals. Well this particular night after school we decided to head
to Little Ceasers because we had a free pizza coupon. We started heading there and remember we forgot the coupon. We went back home to grab it and then headed back to Little Ceasers to get the pizza (which I was dying to eat..I was so hungry..nothing new). It is pitch dark outside and so we could see perfectly inside of Little Ceasers as we parked right in front and got a very clear shot of two men with guns, dressed in black clothing, with their faces hidden by black masks- robbing these three woman that were inside. Tay said well looks like we are not getting our pizza..Tay quickly called 911 and reported what was going on in front of us. We hurried and backed the car up so the guys wouldn't notice us and we saw them run off. I told Tay to follow them but obviously that would be a dumb idea to follow guys with guns and we have nothing to defend ourselves. I really wanted to go attack them! I was so mad they got away right in front of my brown eyes. I am so glad Tay was with me so I wouldn't do anything dumb..like draw attention to myself by honking the horn while they were inside..thinking that would stop them.
After 4 quick minutes after we called the cops they came and had us fill out a witness report (which thank goodness that is all we were..if we would have gotten there a few minutes earlier we would have been inside with them!) The girls inside never got hurt..so that is good.

Oh and I am sure you are all worried if we got our pizza or not..well yes we did, we actually ended up going to another Little Ceasers downtown and they were robbed last week. Apparently these two guys have a thing for robbing a bunch of Little Ceasers..and they only get like 50 to 63 $ every time. Doesn't seem worth it..bunch of crazies.

Unfortunately we are no heroes but we sure know how to dial 911.

A Ray of Sunshine

Tay and I had the wonderful opportunity to go on a cruise to Mexico for one WHOLE week.
We actually just got home last night. It was the first time for both of us on a cruise.
I really had a wonderful time but I must say I would much rather have stayed on shore for the whole
week. I was kind of sick on the boat..but being in Mexico was AMAZING!!
My favorite parts of the whole week:
Zip lining..so incredible..I have never done anything like it..we were 600 ft in the air and
it was such a rush!

Private boat ride tour with our friends which was so FUN!

Bartering with the Mexicans..we saved so much money by doing so.

Karaoke..that just speaks for itself.

Last but not least..having time with my man!
I got him all to myself for a whole week..I was one happy woman!

So I don't really want to bring this up because I am so bitter about it..but I feel the need to share
my frustration...I took 145 PICTURES. Yes I did. I downloaded them to my computer and then they all got deleted somehow and only 25 of them showed up. I am 95% sure this was NOT a blonde moment.
I did what I always do when I download pictures. I am not quite sure who to be mad at..me or my computer..guess I will have to make that decision.
in the mean time here is 5% of the pictures we got:)

Cabo~

Puerto Vallarta~ right after we went zip lining..

 The guys being..guys.

I think some people thought they were gay..but after seeing this picture I can't blame them..

enjoying the sun:) The food was so good in Mexico...feed both of us dinner for like 6 bucks..
best mexo food I ever had!

The actually town in Puerto Vallarta

Our friends..we spent most of our time with these peeps:)

Some cool individual made this out of sand..I thought it was pretty snazzy.

Well hopefully by some miracle I can retrieve the other 95% of the pictures:)

Just when you thought it was over..

Well I have been meaning to post these pictures two weeks ago but that never happened...
so here they are folks!
Christmas was so wonderful this (past) year (like it always is)
I am so blessed to have family to make Christmas extra special.
It was neat to spend Christmas Eve with my family, my big brother Ben and his wife, Lora and their boys
joined in on the celebration and I LOVED having them there.
 We had a wonderful breakfast
 sang Christmas hymns
and opened gifts
I LOVE spending time with family.
Christmas day we started off with Church (perfect way to start the day)
we then went to visit some of the most precious people on this earth..my Grams and
Patty. We enjoyed lunch with my cousins.
Afterwards we went to Tay's family's house..we had such
a delightful time there..like always!
Then to end the day we went to my Dads..
The day was PERFECT. Filled with family and love..best gift of all.

These pictures are from the little family party we had at our place the night before  Christmas Eve.
We had my family and Tay's family..not everyone could come but we still
had a fabulous time.

Christmas day/Eve

more of Christmas day...
Tay and I got these awesome full body pj suits from my Brother and Sister in law.
We wear them all the time:)

We played such a fun game with some of our friends..
"guess which one is your husband's ankle"
So fun..I actually guessed Tay's ankle..it seems so weird but we
were all laughing:) oh how blessed are good memories.
