Amazing but not True

Better than Sex Cupcakes (but not really)

I made these for Tay's boss for her B-day and they turned out great! I don't recall the last time I made cupcakes, but it sure is fun! I think I will be baking a lot more cupcakes for people because it brings me so much joy and happiness. Just the name of cupcakes makes me smile, I wanted to be a cupcake for Halloween last year with my man but he is too cool for cupcakes so it never happened. Now it is too late because we are going to be parents and that just doesn't seem like the mature thing to do.

ingredients:
chocolate cake mix {use duncan hines devil's food}
heath toffee chips
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
 2 teaspoons vanilla
1 can sweetened condensed milk {you only use a tiny bit, so buy the smallest can}

bake cupcakes according to the instructions on the box.  let them cool completely.  beat butter, cream cheese, and vanilla until smooth.  gradually add powdered sugar and mix well.  drizzle a small amount of sweetened condensed milk on top of each cupcake.  (I actually did not add the sweetened condensed milk and they were still way good) let the cupcakes sit for a few minutes before piping on the frosting  and sprinkle with toffee chips.

Bunch of Yum folks!

Like it or Love it

I made this the other night and they were THE BEST Cinnabon rolls I have EVER MADE!
(her picture is prettier than mine..so if this picture bellow is not enticing to you then look at her picture)
I am back on the cooking wagon with the whole food planning thing. I was trying to be cheap in January and some of February by just making what ever I could whip up with the ingredients we had. Well my poor husband was not ever eating much because we didn't have much to eat. He told me it is okay to buy food..we need to. So I agreed that food is important to have. I have been doing so good at making sure we always have dinner, making Tay a lunch, and getting up early to make sure my man eats breakfast! This truly is my duty to be in the kitchen, I don't know why most women get offended by that. The kitchen is a great place to be, it is where the food is at:)

I can't believe the school semester is almost over! Went by fast, just 4 more weeks. Last night Tay asked me if I was done with my homework, I just looked at him and simply said, "I will be done with my homework when the semester is over". I ALWAYS have projects and other things to do that involve with school.  I am very grateful Tay and I get the privilege to go to school. I enjoy feeling productive. I can't believe all the things I am doing and learning that I would have never thought interior designers do. It really is not just decorating a room, much more complicated than that.

This song is amazing: The end of august- Yanni
I used to play this song over and over till I fell asleep when I was in the little years of my life.

Another random post...just missed my blog thought I would update..
till next post:) have a happy Friday!

"Lovin' From the Oven"

~On a mission for a better commission~
Tay does NOT like store bought brownies..I normally don't care for store bought goods but I am not a complete hater..I mean home made is always better.
Any how so I was on a mission to find an AMAZING recipe for day 10,
"we were "mint" to be together".

Well I came across this beautiful picture:

I knew these were the ones.
I found the blog that posted this delightfulness: Loving From the Oven
She just seems like a sweety and she has some awesome recipes. I just made these brownies and I can testify they truly are AMAZING. One of the simple delights in my life, chocolate meets Andes mints.
yep they were meant to be.

Oh an another thing I have discovered recently is Pandora. Really "diggin it" (keepin it real).
I have really become a lot more mellow with my taste in music, I am loving to just listen to hymns, Enya, Paul Cardall, Yanni, ANY piano songs! Love the sound of the piano (reminds me of my siblings growing up hearing them play all the time), I am also really into oldies, Simon & Garfunkel- Cecilia, yeah I have repeated about 6 times a day. The Beatles.

Well I need to go get ready for date night tonight! whoot whoot!!
I can't wait for Tay to come home from work to see my wonderful creation,
I think he will highly enjoy them:)

In a 9 x 13 dish, sprinkle a little bit of onion soup mix and then set the thawed roast in the middle, then place the patatos and carrots in around the roast. Pour mushroom soup and 1 cup of water over all of it and the rest of the onion soup mix.

Cover tightly with tin foil

Bake @ 350 for 4 hrs.

Serve with rolls and salad (or what ever your heart desires).
