So Excited and I just Can't Hide It!

I am so happy right now.
I was just organizing some drawers and found an article about pregnancy which shows pictures of how big my baby is right now at 7 months and gosh he is big and squished! I can't wait to hold him and have a son with my husband!!!! Tay is so cute he will call and ask how the baby and I are doing, I love when Tay talks about our little man and us being a family. I am seriously so blessed to have the opportunity to bring this baby into this world.
I know so many woman that are unable to have children and it breaks my heart for them. There is this one lady I know particularly that can't have kids and her husband doesn't want to adopt so they will never have the opportunity to raise children. I told Tay I wish that I could take her pain away, maybe I should make her some brownies or something. He replied by saying, "yeah make her brownies with a note saying since you can't have babies, enjoy having some brownies". He made a good point I would only make it worse by doing that but it just makes me feel so sad for her. I am sure it is painful for her to be around me and other people who have children of their own.
That just doesn't seem fair to me that someone who wants to be a mother so badly can not have her own children but yet there are so many woman that  probably are not in the "best situation" and probably just shouldn't be mothers but of course can get pregnant right away.
Although I can't see the big picture so I guess I shouldn't judge what is "fair" we all have things that happen to us in life that just don't seem "fair".

Anyways I have been so talkative lately.
I love talking to my husband, Aunt, sister, Dad, and friends.
When ever I am on the phone with them I just don't want them to go. Sometimes I will call Tay at work and just try to buy time with random conversations just so I can talk to him longer. Mm. Weird. My baby is probably well aware of my voice.

Well I managed to snap a few photos of our awesome hike we went on.
This photo is kind of silly but the one of us smiling is blurry and of course Tay can only handle so many pictures before he is done so we didn't get another one.

less than 2 1/2 months to go! so excited!

So do you still love him?

Well yes, I do.

Yesterday was our anniversary.
We have been married for 2 years! We still have so many years ahead of us, I am excited!
Marriage has taught me a lot about myself and also more about Tay. We have had our differences along the way but I have come to learn our core values are the same and that is what is the most important. I am glad we were able to enjoy two years with no children, I feel blessed we had that time with just us.

To celebrate our wedding day we made each other's favorite breakfast for one another.
He made me whole wheat crepes with fruit and I made him waffles.
We just relaxed and had a nice morning together.
In the evening we actually went fabric shopping for pillows (I am trying to find the right fabric for our couch pillows) It was actually Tay's Idea to go fabric shopping he has an eye for good looking things. He knows exactly what I am looking for. We then went to dinner at this awesome Chinese place in Millcreek area and then enjoyed an evening at home together.
This weekend we have free reward points to stay in a hotel in Park City so we are going to really celebrate this weekend and stay at the same hotel we did our wedding night! So that should be snazzy.

Here we are gazing into each others eyes, full of love and all that other good stuff.

oh the happy moments..(sorry I am feeling kind of cheesy right now)..

Next post will be awesome so stay tune!

The luck of being the lucky

I didn't want to post anything because I really enjoyed pulling up my blog and seeing the sweet post that Tay made. When I opened up my blog V-day morning after breakfast and saw he did that I started crying! He is such a sweetie! He made V-day so special, I am so grateful for his kindness to me.

Here is our delish V-day meal-

the recipe:
-2 fresh squeezed oranges
-4 tbs. hoisin sauce
-2 tbs. oyster sauce (I forgot to add this and it still tasted amazing)
-2 tbs. sesame oil
-2 tbs. garlic chili pepper sauce
-1 tbs. cornstarch dissolved in 1/3 cup water
-4 individual thawed salmon portions
-20 shrimp
-1 pound broccoli or asparagus cut up
-3 tbs. canola oil

Directions:
1. Combine orange juice, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and chili pepper sauce in small bowl.
2. Add the cornstarch and water and set aside.
3. Heat half the oil in a large fry pan and add shrimp. Toss around in the hot oil until the shrimp turns opaque and slightly pink. Remove to plate.
4. Add the salmon portions and brown on both sides on medium heat. Turn the heat down slightly and
fry until opaque and flakes to the center.
5. Add the rest of the oil to the pan and stir fry the broccoli/asparagus several minutes on medium high heat unil tender crisp. Add the salmon and shrimp back to the pan and add the sauce/cornstarch. Stir carefully until the sauce thickens.
6. Serve with rice.
(don't buy the frozen kind of salmon or shrimp..fresh always taste best!)

Tay was so sweet and ordered fresh rose flower pedals...he spread them all over the bed and they were so beautiful...but the pedals stained our WHOLE bedspread! I don't know how to get the stains out! HELP..if you know any tricks to getting stains out please let me know!
My grams made this quilt and so it means a lot to us.

all in all we had a wonderful day!
I hope to always make V-day a special day every year!

Happy Valentines Day!

                                             Will You....

You may be wondering, "How did he get access to my blog?" The answer to that question is relatively simple, I'm Awesome! You may also be wondering what I mean exactly when I ask "Will you be my Valentine?" I would like to explain exactly what it means to be MY valentine.

As my valentine you will receive
  • Complimentary breakfast in bed
  • An afternoon with just the two of us that includes lunch and all your favorite things
  • A romantic candlelight dinner prepared by none other than, that's right me!
  • Your favorite kettle corn
  • A bed covered in rose petals and...
  • 12 loupons (love coupons) that can be redeemed at any time.
So if these are things that sound good to you then I hope you will say yes to being my valentine. If none of the above said things sound appealing there is always my eternal love that I can offer to you. Happy Valentines day to my beautiful wife! Love you Crystal!

Success.

Day 1:
Went as good as my hair due this morning
(which turned out great until I stepped out side and had my face blown way)
Anyhow..Tay's reaction was so cute..he doesn't "freak out" like I do when I am excited but I know when something makes him happy and I knew he enjoyed his heart shaped pizza that was stuffed with love!:)

Day 2:

After a long day of work and school I surprised him with some yums and a foot massage..
It was so nice to just take time to be with each other. Usually I am just glued to my homework but I just stopped and made time for us:)

Day 3:

This morning I had my alarm set for the flippin wrong time.
Tay gets up before I do but this morning I wanted to get up early to make him breakfast.
I woke up to the sound of him grabbing a bowl and getting ready to get some breakfast and I jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen screaming..NOOOOOO...
I grabbed the bowl from him and told him to leave the kitchen. He was laughing so hard.
Any how it turned out just snazzy..I made him 3 french toast with french bread..his fav for breakfast.

I love making my man happy, The best is to see his genuine smile:) makes my heart melt!

I have been lacking on taking pictures..but that is just how it is going to be..school has been consuming me this semester. I will do my best to update, I love blogging..
so I will always make some time for it:)

Smooch

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas this weekend!

I have listened to this song over and over again..
I can't even recall how I came across such a fabulous song..
I have not ever heard it on the radio..so enjoy..
Don't watch the video..close your eyes..or just look at something else..
I watched like 10 sec. of it and it was way weird (not inappropriate..just weird..I think..I have not
seen the whole video so I would not know).
Usually music videos ruin the song so I prefer not to see them.

The Smell of Pine

This is a random thought post:

I have always hated lipstick..
mostly because I felt as if I had just smeared cake all over my lips and just left it there.
Well since about 3 weeks ago I rediscovered lipstick.
I now wear it everyday.

Grace gave me these BEAUTIFUL flowers.
Made my day. She is hands down one of the most thoughtful people
I know! She is always sending me sweet cards and doing so much for us.
 LOVE YOU GRACE.

Tay gave me a hot chocolate maker last year.
This machine has been good to me this winter.
Makes my soul feel warm and cozy inside..just like a "good friend"!:)

I made these scrumptious pumpkin muffins and they are so moist and delish!

This year we did our tree silver and blue...I like the combo:)

QUESTION..
So I would like to know your opinions..(for the few of you that look at my blog)
Gift cards have gotten the reputation of being thoughtless.
I actually think they are AMAZING.
I love receiving gift cards and I think they are great if you know that person likes to go to a certain place to din out. I put a lot of thought when getting gifts and sometimes gift cards end up being the best way I can think to suite certain people and what they like to do.
Are you a gift carder giver or a gift card hater?

Tay and I were sitting at home and decided to tell each other everything we
thought the other person is good at..
I went first..and told him everything I thought he was good at.
Then he went.
After he was done I said, "you forgot to say singing"
he paused..
"you mean that you like to sing"
haha it is so sad and so true..I sing all the time..in the car, shower, in the store, randomly in front of friends, I am just NOT a good singer but I love to sing:)
Most of our car rides consists of us singing and dancing.
(luckily I am not singing in this one so it is much more pleasant)

Raining LOVE

Tay and I have both been really busy with school. Ever morning

Tay has been getting up at 6 am to make me a yummy hearty breakfast!

He has been so sweet to do so much cooking andcleaning. He really is an amazing cook!!

So grateful to have such a productive man!

I recently just got a job at Pottery Barn..I love it.

They are training me right now on everything

so I can be in the Interior Design area to help clients..which I

am so EXCITED to do!

My brother got married this past week. Him and his
wife are so good for each other.

They fit so well! They looked so cute driving

away off to their honeymoon...some people mentioned

that it they look like Ken and Barbie driving off ha. They kind of did.

They are both georgeous~ Kathyrn looked amazing in

her dress! I am just so happy for the both of them that they get

to experience the great joy of being married!

I really had such a wonderful experience myself on the day

of their wedding. I felt so much love for everyone around me! I really am so
grateful for close friends and family.

on one sad note:

one of my sister in-laws could not make it (she is in Argentina)
Michelle- you were greatly missed and so were your cute boys!

Here is just a small glimps of the day:

I didn't get any pictures of the dancing..but dang my sister knows hows to

DANCE! There was a group of boys break

dancing and Jen said..I can do that..and she showed me how it is done! ha:)
